I hold degrees from the University of California, Berkeley (B.A. 2006), San Diego State University (M.A. 2009), and The University of Arizona (Ph.D. 2014). I have taught courses in literature, composition, film, Africana Studies, and Gender & Women's Studies, and have published in Journal of Modern Literature, The Explicator, the Routledge Encyclopedia of Modernism, Studies in the Novel, and elsewhere. I am currently an associate professor of English and Humanities at Palomar College in San Marcos, California.
